2. How SureCircle Works

2.1  What It Is

SureCircle is a mobile app that lets you verify, in real time, that the person on your call or video meeting is who they claim to be—using cryptographic proof, not their voice or face. Just as HTTPS added a trust layer to web browsing (the padlock icon), SureCircle adds a cryptographic trust layer to human communication. It creates a Virtual Private Identity Network (VPIN): a pre-authenticated network of trusted contacts whose identities can be challenged at any time.

2.2  Who Belongs in Your Circle

Tier 1 — C-Suite: CEO, CFO, COO, General Counsel—anyone whose impersonation could authorize transactions or access.

Tier 2 — Financial & IT Gatekeepers: Controller, Treasurer, CISO, IT Director—anyone who executes wires, manages credentials, or controls access.

Tier 3 — High-Value External Contacts: Banking relationship manager, outside counsel, key vendors, board members.

Tier 4 — Role-Based Expansion: Department heads, budget-authority leads, HR leaders with sensitive data access.

2.3  The Challenge Flow

Each Circle member holds a SureMark Credential tied to their verified identity, organization, and SureMark ID. During any live interaction, you tap “Challenge.” The other party authenticates via biometric or passcode. You see a verified identity card (green checkmark, name, organization, SureMark ID) or a failure indicator. SureCircle is not a phone directory, caller-ID replacement, or recording tool. It works alongside existing platforms.
